Hello crafty friends. I’ve had a quick play today with a brand new set of stamps from the fabulous Julie Hickey – the ‘daisy buttons’ set. I’ve only just got them, but I think you’ll be seeing a lot more of them over the next few weeks. This one is sat firmly in my CAS… Read More daisy button
Welcome to my crafty blog and another card made from die cuts, this time with added paper piecing. These little felines on Claritystamp’s ‘cats on a comfy chair’ die just have such attitude – I love the one in the corner peeping in! They are so like our two cats, Tom & Benji, who are… Read More comfy cats
Hello there – I’m back today with another card that is virtually all made from die cuts (I’m obviously getting into the swing of this now!) This one uses Stampin’ Up!’s ‘windmill’ and ‘tulips’ die. I CASE’d (copy & selectively edit) a layout I saw on SU’s website and used the current colour palette from… Read More tulip windmill
Welcome to my crafty blog and another sunflower card. This one uses the new set from Claritystamp, who are donating 50% of the proceeds from them to the British Red Cross appeal for Ukraine. They were the obvious set to use when I saw the new colours from CAS Colours and Sketches and I’m also… Read More sunflowers of peace
Hello crafty friends – time for another Easter card today with hardly any stamping on it. I thought I’d have a play with Stampin’ Up!’s ‘daffodil’ dies – other than an online class with the brilliant Joanne James I haven’t used them other than to cut out the stamped images in the set. Time to… Read More a bunch of daffs
Welcome to my crafty blog. Well after yesterday’s cards with the latest stamp & stencil from Clarity’s Craft Club, I’m back with my Sunday dip into previous years and this week it’s ‘Santa’s Christmas delivery’ from November 2018. Another one that hadn’t seen the light of day until now, but in my defence I was… Read More Claritystamp craft club lookback – Santa’s Christmas delivery
Hello there. I’m back with a second post today, this time using one of the flower stamps from Claritystamp’s February Craft Club. I had a very productive time today, as my sister, my crafty buddy and I had our monthly online ‘Crafternoon’, playing with our Craft Club goodies. I’ve used the sketch from CAS Colours… Read More beauty’s glance
Welcome to my crafty blog. I’ve been playing today with the latest stencil from Claritystamp’s monthly Craft Club – this lovely wave of butterflies. I’ve used the colours from Color Thowdown and the embossing theme from Just Us Girls. I’m also going to share it as a second card for Inkspirational‘s ‘curve’ challenge. I started… Read More butterfly curve
Welcome to my crafty blog and a new theme over at the Alphabet Challenge. We’re on to the letter Y, and Helen has challenged us to use ‘your favourite colour combination’. Well this was a bit of a no-brainer for me, as I love blues and teals – they’re definitely my go-to shades when I… Read More Y is for your favourite colours

I thought they worked well for the sketch over at AAA cards with the colours from Global Design Project I started with the small circle backdrop stamp and blended… Read More fly away
