Hello there and welcome to another crafty blog. I’ve gone back to Claritystamp’s ‘riverside landscape’ masks for this card, which picks up the themes at Time Out and Festive Friday. You may not immediately think of an outdoor scene for ‘happiness is… a warm puppy’, but I’ve decided this is a beautiful warm summer’s evening – and where would a puppy rather be than out for an interesting walk with lots of exciting sounds and smells? Festive Friday are celebrating World Art Day, and I’ve gone with masking, landscape and frame from their inspo list.

I started by trimming a piece of Clarity’s ‘Indian Summer’ designer card into a square, and popped the ‘riverside bank’ mask onto it. I then sponged black Archival ink through it to give me the landscape.

I stamped the woman and dog from the ‘family miniatures’ set, again with the black Archival, then ran a black Sharpie around the card edges and attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

I cut one of the ‘frame-it’ dies in dark green card and glued that onto the card front.

The final touch was to add the sentiment, which is from one of last year’s Craft Club sets.

I’ve got several family members & friends who’ve got dogs, so was thinking this would be a great card for one of them – then I remembered that most of their birthdays were earlier in the year! Maybe I’ll just consider myself super organised for 2023…!
Ah, so stinkin’ cute!

What a great way to combine the elements Deborah – I feel like I’m almost part of the scene walking the cute puppy. Love the framing too! Thanks for sharing with us over at Festive Friday!

Your card is gorgeous. I love that paper and the silhouette stamp looks fabulous on it along with the frams. Great card for both Festive Friday and Time Out.

A beautiful card, which does indeed pick up the themes from the Festive Friday Inspo list beautifully. Thank you for linking it to the challenge.
