Hello crafty friends. I’m back today with another Easter card – trying to get myself well organised for next month! This one uses a couple of retired sets from Stampin’ Up! (‘hold onto hope’ and ‘gift of hope’) with the colour palette from the current challenge at TGIF. I started by stamping the wreath from… Read More Easter cross
Hello crsfty friends. I’m back in my happy place today with this CAS card using one of my favourite sets from Claritystamp – the ‘birdhouse garden’. I immediately thought of the fab little cat when I saw the ‘feline’ theme from Addicted to CAS. He also fits Just Us Girls‘ word week, ‘lucky’, which is… Read More lucky to know you
Welcome to my crafty blog. I’ve got a card with a difference to share with you today – I learned how to do this boxfold design in a recent class with Joanne James (aka The Crafty Owl). I needed to have another go at it as I’m planning to make it with my craft group… Read More Easter flowers
Hello crafty friends and welcome to my Sunday dip back into Claritystamp’s Craft Club. This ‘ornate frame’ stamp is from October 2018, and I decided to use it to create a little scene with some of the ‘garden’ stamp set. I started with a square of white card and stamped the frame in the centre… Read More Claritystamp craft club lookback – ornate frame
Hello everyone. Just a short post this evening – I’m away for the weekend and can’t get an Internet connection in my hotel room so I’m blogging this on my phone (which I’ve never done before!). As I’ve typed that sentence, it’s struck me that’s a real ‘first world problem’, especially given then context of… Read More Hope for tomorrow
Welcome to my crafty blog and a birthday card using the new stencil and star dies from Julie` Hickey Designs. I did an online class with Julie recently, which gave me lots of inspiration with these. For this card, I’ve taken the colour palette from Color Throwdown and the theme from Time Out, who are… Read More happy birthday star
Hello crafty friends. I’ve been playing today with a new set from Stampin’ Up! – ‘flowering tulips’. I thought this set would work well with the colours from CAS Colours and Sketches and the new layout from Freshly Made Sketches. I’ve also included the elements from the current ‘recipe’ challenge over at As You See… Read More just thinking of you
Hello crafty friends. Well I’m trying to keep up with my ambition to make a few Christmas cards each month, so it’s not such a rush in the autumn. I’m probably not making as much progress with that as I’d hoped, so today’s card takes me one step further. I’ve used Claritystamp’s ‘nativity miniatures’ stamp… Read More snowflake peace
Welcome to my crafty blog. Today’s card uses the Stampin’ Up! ‘pansy patch’ set that I got last year – pansies are one of my favourite spring flowers, and I must start getting my plant pots refreshed with a few. I’ve used the colours from the current challenge at Colour INKspiration, together with the sketch… Read More thoughtful pansies
Welcome to my crafty blog and another die cut from Claritystamp. I’ve gone for paper piecing with this one, rather than ink blending – I love the way you can get such a different look with these aperture dies just by varying the technique. This card was inspired by the challenge photo at Fusion, and… Read More colourful birds
