Hello there. I’m sharing another Easter card today – this one uses a retired Stampin’ Up! set together with a current one. The ‘hold onto hope’ stamps and ‘cross of hope’ dies were some of the first SU products I bought, but they work beautifully with the textured stamp from ‘artistically inked’. I’ve used the current sketch from The Paper Players and the colours from Colour INKspiration over on Facebook.

I started by cutting three card panels in ‘very vanilla’, and then repeat stamped the inky texture from ‘artistically inked’ across the bottom using a ‘soft succulent’ Write marker to ink it.

I added the floral spray from the ‘hold onto hope’ set onto each of the side panels, again in ‘soft succulent’, and then glued all three onto a square of ‘garden green’ card. The whole piece then went onto a 6×6 card blank I’d made from the ‘very vanilla’.

I die cut three crosses from the ‘cross of hope’ set in ‘basic gray’ card and added them to the central panel. I glued the two small ones in place and attached the larger one using narrow foam pad strips for extra dimension.

I stamped the sentiment onto a die cut banner and added that across the bottom on foam pads. I’ve essentially flipped The Paper Players’ sketch by putting the sentiment at the bottom of the panels, rather than across the top.

This was quite straightforward once I’d worked out the design! I’m going to sit now and make a few more of them.
Beautiful!

I love how you combined the stamps to create your background, and the three crosses are very thoughtful. Great color combination as well! Thanks so much for playing with my sketch this week at the Paper Players!

This is a lovely way to combine sets Deborah and I love the way the 3 crosses mimic the 3 panels of the design. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
