Hello crafty friends. Today’s card uses the ‘sweet daisies’ stamp set from Julie Hickey Designs, together with a little trick with a banner die! I picked up the challenge photo over at Inkspirational, and paired it with the colours from Color Hues I started with a square of white card and stamped the daisies onto… Read More pink daisies
Welcome to my crafty blog and my weekly dip back into Claritystamp’s craft club. Today I’ve used the ‘abstract texture’ stamp from January 2020 for the landscape on this card. I started with a 5×7 card blank and laid the ‘hills’ mask across it, before repeat stamping the ‘abstract texture’ across the bottom of the… Read More Claritystamp craft club lookback – abstract texture
Hello crafty friends. I’ve been playing with my Julie Hickey Designs ‘dinky dies’ again this evening, having been inspired by a great class this afternoon with Marion Emberson of Sugar & Spice Crafts. Hello crafty friends! I’ve been playing again with the sunflowers from Claritystamp – it’s a great little set and the Clarity team are donating 50% of the proceeds from their sale to the British Red Cross in aid of Ukraine. Hello there. I’m sharing another Easter card today – this one uses a retired Stampin’ Up! set together with a current one. The ‘hold onto hope’ stamps and ‘cross of hope’ dies were some of the first SU products I bought, but they work beautifully with the textured stamp from ‘artistically inked’. I’ve used the… Read More Easter blessings
Hello crafty friends. My blue tit stamps from Clarity’s ‘garden birds’ set are making their annual appearance as it’s spring, and here they are busy on their bird feeder. I thought of these as soon as I saw the inspiration photo over at Just Us Girls, which I’ve paired with the sketch from Just Add… Read More bird feeder
Welcome to my crafty blog and another card using one of the new stamp sets from Julie Hickey Designs – the ‘floral blooms’. It’s personalised, as my son wanted a card to give a colleague who’s retiring from work. I’m rubbish at starting from a blank card, so took inspiration from a couple of designs… Read More pink blooms
Hello crafty friends, and welcome to my Sunday dip back into Claritystamp’s monthly craft club. I mentioned last week that I took a break from the club at the end of 2018, but rejoined a year later just before I retired from full time work, so here we are with the ‘hare fox & badger’… Read More Claritystamp craft club lookback – hare, fox & badger #158
Hello there! I’m back with a masculine card today, using stamps, dies & papers from Julie Hickey Designs. I picked up the layout from Freshly Made Sketches and the colours from Color Throwdown – by happy coincidence, the ‘all weathered’ papers designed by Hazel Eaton for Julie had the three colours in them! I statred… Read More birthday wishes
