Welcome to my crafty blog. I’m having a bit of a break from making Christmas cards at the moment, and sharing a card I was asked to make for a friend’s mum. I’ve realised it’s very similar to one I blogged last month, but I do love the ‘blossoms in bloom’ set from Stampin’ Up… Read More Birthday blossoms
Welcome to my crafty blog. I’m still busy with Christmas cards, and now starting on ones for family & friends, having prepped lots to sell in aid of my church. I was thinking about this stamp from Claritystamp, having seen them on Hochanda last weekend. I’ve had it for several years, and have used it… Read More Joy to the world
Another blog, another Christmas card! Thanks for taking a look – a friend asked me to make several cards to send to her friends in the USA. She wanted them to have a London theme, and I remembered the ‘City of London’ three way stamp set by Claritystamp that I bought in the summer. I… Read More London Christmas
Welcome to my crafty blog. I’m still busy making Christmas cards – this one is for a friend who’s not a Christian, so I went for a more general scene and sentiment. Welcome to my crafty blog. I wanted to share the birthday card I made for my son, who owns a very elegant tabby cat called Benji. Welcome to my crafty blog. I’ve been busy making more Christmas cards, and love this ‘Arrange a wreath’ set from Stampin Up, with the co-ordinating ‘wreath builder’ dies. As it’s still a way from Christmas yet, it didn’t feel appropriate to get too far into the song, so I stuck with the first day of… Read More Partridge in a pear tree
Welcome to my crafty blog. Today’s card is one I made for my brother-in-law’s birthday – he’s got a white Vespa scooter, and I remembered I’d got one in this old set of stamps from Kanban buried in my stash. I’ve also used the current challenge from Fab Friday for the design (http://fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com/) I started… Read More Vespa dreams
Welcome to my crafty blog. Today’s card is one I’ve made for friends who are expecting their first baby. I think this set from Stampin’ Up! (Birds and Branches) is just perfect for these cards. I’ve made several with them already – I just love the eggs in the nest! I’ve used a couple of… Read More Nesting birds
Welcome to my crafty blog. Today’s card is a masculine birthday card that I made using one of the Claritystamp monthly New Design Club dies. It’s a great landscape scene, which I think works perfectly for lots of occasions, including birthdays. This one is destined for a friend in Romania, which has the most amazing… Read More Birthday landscape
