Welcome to my crafty blog. Today’s card is a masculine birthday card that I made using one of the Claritystamp monthly New Design Club dies. It’s a great landscape scene, which I think works perfectly for lots of occasions, including birthdays. This one is destined for a friend in Romania, which has the most amazing countryside.
I started by cutting the die into a rectangular piece of green card – as the die is a small square I positioned it towards the top of the rectangle, so that the top and two side borders were equal. That then left me space at the bottom to stamp the sentiment, which I heat embossed with Wow ‘gold satin pearl’ powder (my current favourite!)

I then mounted it onto a piece of the Claritystamp ‘Toscana’ 5×7 designer card. These colours are just gorgeous, and perfect for an autumnal card, especially with all the fields now being harvested.

I mounted the card onto a 5×7 card blank, and finished it by adding a small tree in kraft card (saved from the last time I used this die!) next to the sentiment

Now off then to the post office to get it on it’s way. It’s not feeling too autumnal here at the moment, with the sun shining, but I know it’s only a matter of time…
Beautiful die! Your background looks like alcohol ink! So pretty!
