Welcome to my crafty blog and something a bit different for me. I generally just make cards, but our new challenge at Sparkles is to use a die or punch and for once I thought Christmas treat boxes would fit the bill.
I used the ‘mini cube box’ from Clarity’s craft club earlier this year (which I have to confess hadn’t been out of the packaging until now!) I started with some Christmas tartan paper that’s been in my stash longer than I want to admit to! The cube is pretty easy to make, once you’ve worked out which piece is the lid and remember not to add tape to the flap (ask me how I know…!)

I then used a retired SU tree punch to create my Christmas trees in green card, just adding a resin star and some sparkly dots to it

I’d used red liner tape to stick my box together and added another little piece onto the tree trunk to then attach it to the back of the box.

Love these little boxes – they’re the perfect size for a Ferrero Rocher! As you can see, I’ve made several and they’ll be on our table on Christmas Day.

So I’ve used a die and a punch on these, but you only have to use one on your creations to share with us at Sparkles. Pop on over to the challenge page to see the great inspiration from the rest of the design team – you have until 14th December to join the fun. In the meantime, I’m going to share this over at Happy Little Stampers for their ‘anything goes with dies’ theme.
Love these!
