Welcome to my crafty blog. We’ve got a new challenge over at As You See It and this time Heather’s chosen a lovely colour palette for us. I decided to keep it simple again, picking up the new theme from AAA Cards, which gave me a great excuse to get Clarity’s gnomes out again! I… Read More gnome alone – As You See It #285
Hello crafty friends. I’m now up to October 2021 for this week’s dip back into the Clarity Craft Club, which helpfully was this Christmas tree stamp – nice and timely for a bit more batch making! I decided to do something a bit different with the stamp, but first embossed a frame onto a square… Read More Clarity Craft Club lookback – Christmas tree
Hello there. It’s been a very solemn day in the UK with the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II taking place, and so I wanted a simple card that suited the mood. She was known to love life in the countryside, as well as being a committed Christian, so I went with a couple of… Read More peace within
Hello crafty friends. I’m back today with a CAS card using a couple of the new bijou stamps from Claritystamp, which I picked up at their recent summer retreat. They’re really sweet small stamps, perfect for CAS cards, so I’ve picked up the themes from a couple of CAS challenges on this one. Addicted to… Read More bijou wishes
Welcome to my crafty blog and a first outing for the new gnome stamps and dies from Claritystamp. I just love these little chaps! I’ve taken the layout from CAS Colours & Sketches‘ current sketch and gone for a less than traditional Christmas colour scheme using the palette from Color Throwdown. The ‘festive’ theme from… Read More festive gnomes
Hello there. I’ve been a very sporadic blogger over the last few weeks thanks to several trips away (including a fabulous couple of days at Claritystamp’s crafting retreat – more of that another time) but I managed to find a bit of time this afternoon to make a few cards. I picked up the palette… Read More ladybirds
Hello there. Well it’s been another scorching day here in the South East of England – the hottest ever recorded! I thought I’d make another Christmas card, in the hope that if I’m thinking about cooler days I’ll stop noticing the heat… (it didn’t work!) This is essentially a one layer card using Claritystamps, although… Read More decorating the tree
Hello crafty friends. Today’s card uses the ‘daisy blooms’ stamps from Julie Hickey Designs – I’ve gone for a coloured card base, which I don’t do very often, thanks to the new palette over at CAS Colours & Sketches. I’ve picked up the ‘green thumb’ theme from The Paper Players and ’emboss’ from Less is… Read More bloom
Hello crafty friends. I’m back with another stamp that I picked up at Clarity’s Open Day – a brand new linocut set called ‘under the apple tree’. It’s such a lovely scene and perfect for The Paper Players‘ one layer clean and simple challenge. I thought the current colours over at Just Add Ink were… Read More under the apple tree
