Hello everyone and welcome to my little blog. I’m back in the swing of my various design team commitments now, and we’ve got a fab layout for you at CAS Colours & Sketches. Rachel’s given us a group of three circles, but you can use any shape you want (and they don’t all have to be the same) – just remember to keep it CAS with lots of lovely white space! We’re on the countdown to Christmas over at Clarity Crafts, but I put a birthday twist on Tina Morris’ Season’s Greetings Flowers just to show you can get a lot of mileage out of those seasonal stamps!

The first step was to stamp the largest flower onto a 5×5 piece of premium card and cover it with the pre-cut mask from the set. I found the right size circle in the nested rounds embedders and brushed ‘stormy sky’ Distress Oxide through it with a stencil brush.

I added in the twiggy branches to represent the third circle in Rachel’s sketch, then shaded my flower with Polychromo pencils, using a red Pergacolour pen to fill the twigs with dots.

I then simply ran a black Sharpie pen around the edges of the topper, attached it to a 6×6 card blank and finished with one of the KISS word stickers.
