Hello crafty friends. I’ve got another Christmas card to share with you today, using the August Clarity Craft Club stamps for our new theme at Addicted to Stamps & More. I love this little bell jar shaped background and I can see it working for lots of occasions, but for today I’m sticking with Christmas!

I opted to use one of the Autumn/Winter Landscape Backdrop prints, cutting the 7×7 card into quarters for my background. I then brayered ‘stormy sky’ Distress Oxide onto the bell jar stamp and stamped it into the centre of the background.

Next was to add the house and tree outline in black Versafine Clair ink, followed by the infills for the doorway and the tree, both in the ‘stormy sky’. I curved the sentiment to follow the top of the bell jar image (it’s easiest to do this once the stamp is on the mount) and added that in black ink too.

Keeping it simple (my favourite style), I ran a black Sharpie around the edges of the topper and attached it to a 5×5 card blank that I’d previously embossed a frame onto using a square embedder. I finished by using a white ultra fine Posca pen to add light to the windows, Christmas lights in the tree and a little snow on the ground.
