Welcome to my crafty blog and a sneak peek at some more new ClarityCrafts products that are launching on Create & Craft TV this evening – the ‘nested circle diamonds & dots doodle frame-it panel’ dies. I thought they’d be ideal for the sketch at AAA Cards, keeping it CAS for Simply Clean & Simple
I started with a strip of Antarctica designer card, cut to fit on a 6×6 card blank, and used the smallest panel die from the set to cut three semi-circles along one edge of the card. I found the easiest way to do this was to cut the top and bottom ones first, then I could centre the third one between them. I glued the strip of card down the edge of the card blank then added the three semi-circles, reversing them so they sat opposite to the die cut spaces on the card strip.
I finished with one of the ‘occasions’ sentiments, stamping it in ‘wilted violet’ Distress Oxide.
I’m really happy that Clarity have now brought these nested doodle panel dies out in circles – they’re going to be so useful and I’ve got more inspiration to share over the next few days.

That’s a fun take on the sketch at AAA Cards and do agree the nested circles and dots looks a fun addition. I like all the little dots around the edge of the circles.
