Hello there. It’s Mother’s Day here in the UK, so I’m sharing one of my favourite stamp images for all the mums out there who do such an amazing job for their families! I love ‘Tina’s floral spray’ from ClarityCrafts, and I kept this one with a soft feel using the palette from Color Throwdown and Freshly Made Sketches‘ layout.

I started with a 5×5 card blank that I cut in half for my topper (doing this means I haven’t got lots more scrap pieces from cutting down the 7×7 stencil card!) and laid the ‘circle frame’ stencil over it, attaching with a piece of low tack tape. I brushed ‘dried marigold’ Distress Oxide in from the top right and ‘bundled sage’ from the bottom left. I stamped the A6 ‘flroal spray’ over the stencilled part and coloured it with pencils, using a cream Polychromo and peach Pergaliner for the flowers and a light green for the leaves.

I then simply stamped one of the ‘entwined sentiments’ with ‘watering can’ Archival ink, added a mount of Amazonia companion paper and attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

I’m looking forward to a lovely lunch out with my sons today – I hope they bring their wallets!!
