hello crafty friends. Here we are at the start of another week and I’ve got a last minute submission to a couple of challenge blogs, using the ‘beautifully happy’ stamp set that’s in the current Stampin’ Up! Saleabration. I’ve take the colours from Color Throwdown, the layout from Freshly Made Sketches and a scattering of ‘hearts’ courtesy of Just Us Girls

I started with a few small die cut hearts and stamped the single flower from ‘beautifully happy’ onto each using ‘potting soil’ Archival ink, adding the little bee onto one of them. I coloured them with ‘poppy parade’ SU blends and a ‘granny apple green’ Write marker.

I found a piece of brown polka dot paper in my stash and attached it to an A6 card blank. I die cut three more hearts in the next size down using a bit of scrap card, glued them onto the back of my floral hearts and popped them on the card front.

I stamped the sentiment in ‘granny apple green’, die cut it with one of the retired ‘tasteful labels’ and added that to the card to finish.

It took me a little while to decide on the paper for the background behind the hearts, but I rather like the way they stand out against the brown polka dots. I’ll be back tomorrow with another creation.
Beautiful!
