Inspiration photo at As You See It challenge

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my second post today. This one has the new challenge at As You See It – it’s a bonus inspiration photo for the end of the year!

Now my new Stampin’ Up! goodies have arrived ahead of the launch of the new mini catalogue in January and I went for the ‘beautifully happy’ stamp set that will be part of the Saleabration freebies that you’ll be able to get with qualifying orders. It was perfect for picking up the flowers in Jan’s photo. I found a piece of yellow card in my stash and stamped the floral spray onto it, initally using ‘elegant emerald’ Artistry ink for the outline, then using the infill stamps to colour the leaves and flowers (‘elegant emerald’ for the leaves and ‘apricot nectar’ for the flowers).

I glued the yellow card onto a square of white and attached it to a 5×5 kraft card blank. I trimmed a strip of paper from SU’s retired ‘sunshine & rainbows’ dsp and glued that down the side of the yellow card.

Next was to stamp the sentiment onto a scrap of card in the ‘elegant emerald’, die cut it with one of the ‘tasteful labels’ dies and attach it to the card front, finishing with a few green Glossies.

So what are you inspired by in the photo – the flowers, the violin, the fruit of the colours? There’s more inspiration from the As You See It design team over on our blog. You’ve got until 12th January 2023 to play along, and we’ll be back with a new challenge on Friday 13th!
