Welcome to my crafty blog and a nice & simple Christmas card – perfect for batchmaking. I used one of the images from Stampin’ Up!’s ‘peace to you’ set, inspired by the layout at The Paper Players and the ‘outdoor’ theme at Less is More

I started with a 5×5 square kraft card blank (adaping the landscape layout from The Paper Players) and used one of Clarity’s embedders to create a frame. Just attached the embedder to the card front using a bit of low tack tape, flipped the card to the inside then ran a bone folder around to locate the edge of the embedder, finishing with an embossing tool to sharpen the line.

I heat embossed the church & trees, together with the sentiment, into the square frame using WOW’s superfine white powder. And that was it – didn’t need anything else!

I’ve made a pile of these today, as a couple of friends had asked me for some more packs of Christmas cards.
Fab card Deborah ! Thanks for playing along at ‘Less Is More’ with your brilliant Kraft card …. loving the frame ….. Sid xx

Wow ! I love the gorgeous CAS card so beautiful and really is frame-worthy. First time I have heard of an embedder and I love it how clever.
