Hello crafty friends. Today’s Christmas card uses Stampin’ Up!’s ‘merriest moments’ set again – a friend asked me to make this one for her daughter. I took the layout from Freshly Made Sketches (I rotated it to landscape format), and am also going to share it with Can You Handle The Pressure, Inspire.Create (anything goes) and Happy Little Stampers.

I started with a piece of the ‘simply marbleous’ paper from a previous Stampin’ Up! saleabration, mounted it on a layer of silver card and then onto a 5×7 card blank. I die cut the leafy frame from SU’s ‘merriest’ dies, then ran it through the co-ordinating embossing folder which gives it lovely dimension and glued it to the card front.

I stamped and die cut the poinsettia in ‘aqua fusion’ Artistry ink, added a silver centre and glued it to the card.

I finshed by foiling in silver one of the sentiments from Julie Hickey’s Christmas die cut foilables, attached it alongside the poinsettia and added a few silver adhesive dots.

Thanks for dropping in. I hope your weekend is going well – I’ll be busy tomorrow making more Christmas cards thanks to several more orders from friends!
What a pretty card! That die cut frame is just beautiful! Love the background and the fabulous colours! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
