Hello crafty friends. Today’s card uses the very handy ‘nothing’s better than…’ set from Stampin’ Up!, which I thought of as soon as I saw the inspo list for the current Festive Friday challenge. I’ve picked up cookies, circle & square card from the list, which worked really well with the sketch from Atlantic Hearts
I started with a 5×5 card blank, adding layers of teal & white card to the front, after I’d embossed the white square using SU’s retired ‘subtles’ folder. I also added two pieces of dotty paper in browns (really old pieces buried in my stash!)
I die cut a circle in the teal card and glued that onto the front. I stamped the cookie from ‘nothing’s better than…’ twice, die cut them and attached to the card front with foam pads.
I die cut ‘cookies’ from a scrap of SU ‘early espresso’ card, glued it to a strip of white and added that to the card front. I stamped the sentiment in dark brown onto the beige dotty paper and then finished with a few Glossies hearts.
I do like brown & teal together, but the cookies are no good for me – I’m trying really hard to stick to my Slimming World healthy eating plan!

Love the colour combo Deborah and great for both challenges too! You should try living in my house – suddenly biscuits are a banned food group, even though only one person is watching their carb intake!! Thanks for playing along with us over at Festive Friday this week!
