florets special day

Hello crafty friends. I’ve had another play today with the new ‘framed florets’ set from Stampin’ Up!, inspired by the challenges at Hand Stamped Sentiments and Colour INKspiration

I started by cutting a couple of strips of ‘starry sky’ patterned paper, which I attached to a 6×6 card blank, and then added a die cut circle in ‘tahitian tide’.

I stamped the flowers from the ‘framed florets’ set (two large and one small) in ‘starry sky’ and then watercoloured them in ‘orchid oasis’, together with several leaves in the olive. Once dry, I die cut them and attached them round the edge of the circle using foam pads. I also stamped the stentiment onto the circle in the ‘starry sky’.

I felt it still needed a little more, so added a few olive resin dots to finish.

Thanks for dropping in. I’ve had a great afternoon running my craft group – love getting together with such a fab bunch of people. I’m off to put my feet up now – I’ll be back with another card tomorrow!
