Hello crafty friends – here we are with my usual Sunday trip back into Clarity’s craft club.

The die from February 2020 was this funky tulip, which I thought would work well with this week’s challenge from Just Add Ink. I’ve gone for silhouette and day from their ‘choose two’ theme. I’ve also picked up the bottom row of TicTacToe‘s grid with die cut, orange & enamel dots.

I started with a small square of white card and blended Stampin’ Up!’s ‘starry sky’ and ‘pale papaya’ inks onto it, to look like a sunrise.

I cut the funky tulip die into a square of black card and glued it onto the blended piece.

I layered it onto a piece of black card and then attached it to a 6×6 card blank that I’d made from ‘starry sky’ card.

I really wasn’t sure about it though, so left it a while and then decided it would look better on a black card blank (which it does!) A few ‘pale papaya’ dots finished it off.

I haven’t added a sentiment yet – I’ll keep it in my stash and pop one on when I come to use it.
Such a cool die!

Great take on this weeks challenge Deborah. Your silhouette diecut is really lovely against your beautifully blended background. Thanks for sharing at Just Add Ink.
