Welcome to my crafty blog. We’ve got a new challenge over at As You See It and this time Heather’s chosen a lovely colour palette for us. I decided to keep it simple again, picking up the new theme from AAA Cards, which gave me a great excuse to get Clarity’s gnomes out again!

I started by embedding a frame into the front of a 5×5 card blank. The smallest of Clarity’s embedders was too big for what I wanted so I cut my own out of a piece of thick acetate.

I stamped one of the ‘feel gud letterbox gnomes’ into the frame using black Versafine Clair ink.

I matched three Pergaliner pencils to the AYSI challenge colours and shaded in my little gnome (love his ginger beard!), using a HB pencil to add shading.

I added more shading under him with the pencil so he wasn’t floating in mid-air and finished by stamping one of the little mini sentiments into his letterbox.
