Alphabet Challenge – N for Nature

Hello crafty friends and welcome to our next theme at Alphabet Challenge! This time it’s the letter N and Lynda has opted for ‘nature’.

It’s a perfect theme for this time of the year, so I’ve gone for a wreath of leaves picking up the layout from Atlantic Hearts and the ‘autumn’ theme from Addicted to CAS, which worked well with the colours from CAS Colours & Sketches

I took a 6×6 card blank and lightly drew a pencil circle on it to give me a guideline for the wreath. I stamped three of the small stamps from Stampin’ Up!’s ‘Eden’s garden’ around the circle using the closest colours I’d got to CASC&S’s palette. I used ‘mango melody’, ‘daffodil delight’ & ‘evening evergreen’ Write markers to ink the stamps.

I die cut a circle topper from Julie Hickey’s ‘dinky circle’ dies and stamped the sentiment from ‘beautiful friendship’ in the ‘evening evergreen’. I glued that into place and then added a few yellow Glossies – that hadn’t been part of the original plan, but I got a smudge on the topper that needed disguising!
