Claritystamp Craft Club lookback – trio of flowers

Well it’s Sunday (it comes round so quickly!), so I’ve gone back into Claritystamp’s Craft Club for the ‘trio of flowers’ set from August 2021 – it’s a really sweet little group of stamps.

As I usually do, I started with a square of white card. I ran a piece of masking tape across the centre and then repeat stamped the three images along both sides of the tape with black \versafine Clair ink. I then used SU marker pens to colour them in red, yellow & green.

I had to change the masking tape, as it had black ink on it and I didn’t want to smudge the next step (should have thought this through and done this step first!). Once the new tape was in place I lightly brushed ‘bundled sage’ Distress Oxide along both edges, which subtly highlighted the panel across the centre. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and attached the topper to a 5×5 card blank.

I’ve taken inspiration from a few blog challenges for this card. The colours are thanks to Color Throwdown; I also picked up the themes of ‘repetition’ from Just Us Girls and ‘happy’ from CASology

  1. Love this card Deborah! Thank you for sharing. I have just found the stamp on the Clarity website and it has landed in my basket along with the birthday wreath that you showed last week!
