Welcome to my crafty blog. I’m delighted to have been invited to be guest designer for the new TicTacToe challenge launching today!

I decided to take the top row of butterfly, die cuts & sentiment for my card, although looking at the grid again the diagonal from top left also fits (butterfly, free & floral). I’ve also had a second stab at the sketch from The Paper Players

I trimmed a piece of white card to fit a 5×7 card blank, together with a strip of light green card which I die cut with the pattern from Stampin’ Up!’s ‘blossoming happiness’ die set. I lightly blended ‘speckled egg’ Distress Oxide onto the white card, to soften it against the green, and then glued the die cut panel into place. I added the sentiment form the ‘happiness abounds’ set across the bottom.

I then die cut some of the flowers and leaves from the ‘hues of happiness’ designer paper – it’s great that the ‘blossoming happiness’ dies fit these images. I attached them to the card front with foam pads.

I stamped the butterfly from the retired ‘butterfly gala’ set onto another piece of the ‘hues of happiness’ paper, punched it out and popped it onto the card with a foam pad. A few of my signature Glossies finished the card.

Thanks so much for dropping in. Do check out the grid at TicTacToe – the challenge runs until next Thursday, 4th August and we’d love to see what it inspires you to create.
Absolutely gorgeous!

So pretty Deborah! I love the combination of aqua blues and the pop of purple from the butterfly. Thanks for joining us over at TicTacToe as our guest designer this week – great take on the PP sketch too!
