Hello crafty friends. We’ve got a new letter over at the Alphabet Challenge with F, and it’s my turn to host so I’ve chosen ‘friendship’.

This sentiment from Julie Hickey Designs’ ‘positive wishes’ is just perfect, together with one of the floral sprays from her new ‘bouquet of blooms’ set. I’ve used the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches and a second outing for the colours from Color Throwdown

I strated by cutting a frame from Julie’s ‘dinky hexagon dies’ set in silver card and attached it to the front of a 6×6 card blank. I then stamped the sentiment in the centre using ‘salvaged patina’ Distress Oxide.

I stamped the floral spray onto white card and heat embossed it with WOW’s superfine metallic silver powder. I then used my waterbrush to colour the flowers and leaves with Distress Oxides in ‘ripe persimmon’, ‘dried marigold’ & ‘salvaged patina’. Once dry. I fussy cut it and attached it to the card front with foam pads.

It really didn’t need any other embellishment – these flowers are just so lovely.

So pretty! Love the embossing and the color palette!

The gold-lined hexagon is pretty gorgeous! And the aqua color of sentiment is really stunning! Thank you for playing along with CC&S challenge.
