the midnight clear

Happy Christmas everyone! Well, we’ve survived our first 24 hours of a 7 day isolation period & my eldest son & I are still testing negative for Covid. We managed to do socially distanced present opening this morning with my youngest son – we all had masks on, he sat at the other side of his bedroom, and we had all the windows open around us! The dinner is now on and cooking (we always eat in the late afternoon on Christmas Day), so I had a bit of time for crafting (well it stops me eating all the chocolates!)

I thought this stamp from Clarity was perfect for today – I bought it a little while ago but didn’t use it this year. I started by cutting two of the nested square doodle frame-it dies from Clarity into a square of white card

I then stamped the verse and the two solid angels into the centre and heat embossed them with WOW’s metallic gold powder.

All I needed to do was put a layer of gold card behind the white square and then attach the whole piece to a 6×6 card blank.

Well that’s the first of my 2022 Christmas card done – I say every year that I’m going to start early!! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, however you choose to celebrate Christmas. I’ll be back tomorrow with a personal challenge I’ve set myself for the 12 Days of Christmas.
