Hello crafty friends. I’ve decided to repeat a personal challenge I set myself last Christmas, when I worked through the year’s stamps from Clarity’s monthly craft club over the 12 days of Christmas. This year I’m doing it with the monthly dies, so welcome to day 1 of the ’12 Dies of Clarity’. Today it’s the ‘room with a view aperture’ die from January’s craft club.
I started by cutting the die into a square of black card. I put ‘Stick It’ adhesive sheet onto the back before cutting it so the whole piece was sticky, and then attached it to a square of Clarity’s ‘Antarctica’ designer paper.

I cut the die a second time from the same piece of paper, but turned it over to use the co-ordinating colours from the other side. I then paper pieced the walls in place – which sounds easy until you realise that includes all the tiny pieces between the leaves of the plants!!

All I then needed to do was attach the square to a 5×5 black card blank and finish it with one of Clarity’s word stickers.

Regular readers of this blog will know that I can’t bear to waste anything, so I also popped the second die cut onto a black card blank, after I’d added a small piece of paper to sit behind the window. Another word sticker and that was finished too.

Thanks for dropping in. We’re now two days into our week of isolation thanks to my son’s Covid infection – so far so good. See you tomorrow!
Love this!
