Welcome to my crafty blog. It’s Sunday so time for another dip back into Claritystamp’s new design club – this time it’s the ‘follow your dreams’ stamp from August 2015. I’ve combined it with the ‘fly away’ stamp set (I love the energy in the boy taking off into the sky).
I started by cutting down a piece of the ‘Antarctica’ designer paper to fit a 6×6 card blank, and brushed a large sun onto it using a Clarity circle mask and ‘squeezed lemonade’ Distress Oxide.

I then stamped the boy and birds and the sentiment in black Archival ink, before using the leafy branch in the set to add the tree tops for him to soar over.

To finish, I just ran a black Sharpie pen around the edged of the paper and then attached it to a black 6×6 card blank. It’s great the way designer paper and a stamp set will come together so easily to make a really fab image, especially when you need a quick card.

Thanks for dropping in – I thought this was a good card for all those who are getting their exam results in the coming weeks, and so will hopefully be following their dreams. I’m going to share it with a couple of blog challenges – Inkspirational have got ‘journey’ as their theme, and I picked up the diagonal from the top right on TicTacToe‘s grid (green, patterned paper, yellow)

So pretty!
