Hello crafty friends. Here we are galloping to the end of the month, and I’m still looking ahead to Christmas with another of the fab new toppers that Barbara was showcasing on HobbyMaker TV yesterday. This time it’s the Triangle Tree toppers, which I’ve teamed up with the SHAC Christmas tree stamps (they work perfectly together). There is so much potential with these, but I’ve kept it stripped back – simplicity is my middle name!

Not a lot of process to describe for this one, but I started with one of the toppers and ran low tack tape across the base of the tree. I could then stamp one of the tree decoration stamps from the SHAC set over the base tree using ‘peat moss’ Archival ink.

I then simply dotted in the tree berries with a red Pergacolour pen, added one of the Art Deco sentiments (again in the ‘peat moss’) and attached it straight onto a 4×4 card blank.

And that’s all there was to it! I do think there’s an elegance in this simplicity though, don’t you? I’m heading off to share this in the gallery at AAA Cards (I rotated their sketch for this one).

You couldn’t do simpler than this one and I really like how you did your tree.
