Good morning everyone! I hope your weekend is going well. I’m off to catch up with my sons and their families later this afternoon (and cuddle my little grandson), but first wanted to drop in with today’s card celebrating Clarity Crafts’ 34th birthday. Barbara Gray started her little business back in 1992 and it’s grown into a real community of crafters. She and Paul will be on screen this afternoon as part of the weekend’s celebrations (watch on Clarity’s YouTube page) and there’s lot’s of goodies on offer!

I decided to put my August Craft Club stencil into action, which I didn’t have time to play with before I went off on my travels. It’s a lovely floral wreath, which I adapted with a bit of masking.

I started with a 5×5 square of premium card and laid the stencil on it so the wreath sat towards the bottom left hand corner. I then covered over the top right section of the stencil with sticky notes, before sponging ‘stormy sky’ and ‘rustic wilderness’ Distress Oxides through it.

I then simply added some detail to the flowers and leaves with a micron pen, repeat stamped one of the small flowers from the Summer Build a Wreath set and sat one of the Statement Sentiments inside the wreath.

To finish, I mounted it on a layer of Toscana companion paper and attached it to a 6×6 card blank.
