Hello crafty friends! I’m busy getting back into my crafting routine after my 5 week break and I’ve got another Christmas card for you today courtesy of our new theme at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, where Majda has chosen hot foiling or heat embossing for this month’s technique. I opted to do something a little different and heat embossed one of the Mini Christmas Jumpers onto companion paper – I think this will be my nephew’s Christmas card.

So, here’s the quick rundown on my process. I found a 5×5 card blank in my stash that I’d already embossed a frame onto using a square embedder. I then dug out the wreath from the Doves Round A6 stamp set (which is now retired), stamped it in ‘library green’ Archival and shaded it with Polychromo pencils.

Next was to stamp one of the jumper outlines with Versamark clear ink onto a scrap of dark green Shenandoah companion paper. I heat embossed it with WOW’s superfine white powder and fussy cut it.

It was then a simple matter to glue the jumper into place on the card front.
