Waymarker landscape

Hello everyone. We’ve got some more new stamps being featured on Clarity Social TV this morning and I think they are just brilliant! I had such fun playing with these Waymarker stamp sets – today’s card features the Feel Good stamps set on one of the Collage Landscape Prints (I haven’t used these much recently).

I chose one of the prints that has a coastal design in blue tones and stamped the Waymarker on it with ‘potting soil’ Archival ink. I also stamped it onto an offcut of Peppermint Infusion paper, then fussy cut it and pieced onto the background print (Pritt glue stick is the best for this)

I stamped several of the words into place on the waymarker, again with the ‘potting soil’, and then set about filling in the rest of my little scene with the Mini Landscape stamps. I used an ink eraser to lift the colour out of the lighthouse and added a little pencil shading to the other images. I stamped the seagull onto a scrap of white super smooth paper, shaded his beak and legs in orange then fussy cut him out too and glued him next to the waymarker post.

I figured it didn’t need a lot else, so simply ran a brown Sharpie pen around the edges of the topper and attached it to a 7×7 card blank.

I can see so many uses for these great stamps – more to share with you over the weekend too! Meanwhile, you can see what the rest of the design team made of them on Barbara’s show at 10am today (on YouTube or the Clarity Crafts Facebook page).

I’m also going to share this one with a couple of challenges, having picked up the ‘skies’ theme from Love Those Pretty Papers and the ‘coastal path’ option from Make My Monday.
