Hello crafty friends. It’s been another seriously hot day here in London – it reached 38C this afternoon, so the only sensible thing is to stay indoors and craft! I’ve got another card with the new SHAC Fishes to share with you today – these outline images put me in mind of the Christian Ichthus symbol, an open fish shape that is said to have been used as a secret sign by the early Christians after Christ had been crucified and they were being actively persecuted by the Romans. So, that’s what I decided to create today in a simple gold and white design.

I cut a small panel with one of the Dots Doodle Frame-it dies, stamped one of the fish on it with Versamark clear ink and heat embossed it with WOW’s super fine gold powder.

I then simply added a mount of gold card and one of Barbara’s Word Stickers, which I cut in half and edged with a gold Posca pen. All it needed to finish was a 5×5 card blank.

I do like to look at stamps and see different takes on them (you may have noticed!) This will come into good use for cards for my church family, I think.
