Hello crafty friends. I really hope you’re not getting bored of the new Family & Friends Silhouette stamps because I’m back with another little creation today using the Childhood Days set! I kept it very simple today, just adding the stamps to an inky mop-up background from my stash.

So, having found this little piece in my folder of mop-up backgrounds, I stamped the little boy and girl and added the ground image below them with black Archival ink.

I extended the flowers out on both sides with the other stamps in the set, then added the little pair of birds into the sky (I love all the little bird images in this collection, they are such great little touches for outdoor scenes). I stamped one of the sentiments from the Dotted Blooms collection, then ran a black Sharpie around the edges. Finally, I embossed a frame onto the front of a 5×5 card blank using a square embedder and a ball tool (no surprise there!) and stuck the topper into it.

Don’t you think this little pair look like they’re off to have fun? I actually made this card to send to Julie, my partner for this month’s ATC swap over on the Clarity Mini Makes Facebook page – here’s the ‘friends’ themed ATC I sent her with the card, using another of the images from this fab stamp set (and she was kind enough to say she liked it!)

I’m going to also share this in the galleries for Cupcake Inspiration and Simply Clean & Simple
