Hello crafty friends and welcome to a look at another of the new Waterside Landscapes toppers. I’ve used the Build a Landscape stamps on this one for our new theme of ‘any occasion’ at Addicted to Stamps & More.

I love these toppers with their pre-printed sentiments, and they’re so easy to personalise and add to. Given the sentiment on this one, I wanted to add some colour into the moon area so reached for the original set of masks for these designs. I could then use the mask for the sky area to isolate the moon, which made it easy to then sponge ‘carved pumpkin’ and ‘dried marigold’ Distress Oxides into it.

Next was to choose a few of the tree stamps from the Build a Landscape set and add them into the scene with black Archival ink, using low tack tape so I could get a perfect edge on the landscape.

As the sun is shining on this one, I added shadows to the trees by stamping them again but in second generation (ie I stamped the image off on copy paper first before then adding it to the topper, which gives a more muted effect). I then simply ran a black Sharpie pen around the card edges and attached it to a 5×7 card blank.

What occasion will you share with us at ATSM, or will it just be card of encouragement like mine? We’d love to see your creations in our gallery. I’m going to share this sunny scene with AAA Cards, who’ve got a 1+1 challenge – pick one of the other words from their prompts to go with the central one of ‘summer’. You’ve no doubt worked out that I went with ‘sun’!
