Serenity skies

Hello crafty friends. I’ve got one of the fab new little Elements Skies tags to highlight on today’s card, pairing it with the Japanese Mini Scene Builder stamps for a serene little card.

I selected one of the little tags that has lovely sunset colours, masked the bottom edge with low tack tape to keep a border the same depth as the top, then stamped the pair of houses from the Japanese set in black Archival ink. I wanted to ‘lose’ the printed edge that now ran through one of the buildings, so shaded them in with Polychromo pencils, blending ‘beige red’ and and greys (all in the Essentials set).

I added the little cat and sentiment from the set, also in black Archival ink, then attached the tag to a 4×4 card blank. The final touch was to stamp the row of dots from the Enso Enlightenment set.

Thanks for dropping in. The weather’s not been very serene here – grey skies and heavy showers, after last week’s heatwave!
