Birthday balloons for Addicted to Stamps & More #518

Hello crafty friends! I’ve got another design to share with you using the fab SHAC Balloons stamps but, in contrast to my last post, this time I’ve covered the card front with them in honour of our ‘birthdays’ theme at Addicted to Stamps & More!

I cut a piece of Clarity’s 6×4.5″ premium card down to a square and first stamped one of the Statement Sentiments in the corner with black Archival ink. I then took the largest balloon stamp, sponged ‘dried marigold’ Distress Oxide onto it and repeat stamped it across the card front.

I then took the next size down balloon stamp (the second largest), this time inking it up with ‘carved pumpkin’ Distress Oxide and again repeat stamped in across the card front.

I found a co-ordinating Perga Colour pen and drew in the balloon strings with it, then simply added a mount of Northern Lights companion paper and attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

So, how will you come and celebrate a birthday with us at Addicted to Stamps and More? There’s more inspiration from the design team over on the blog page and we’d love to see you in our gallery. Speaking of galleries, I’m going to share this card in a couple of others – I took the colours from Cupcake Inspiration and AAA Birthday have got an ‘anything goes’ theme.
