Hello crafty friends. I decided it was time I put last month’s Craft Club stamps into action, so here they are! The daffodils are so pretty, and that jug will come in useful for lots of other bunches of flowers. I gave them a simple frame with one of the Circle Doodle Aperture Frame-It dies.

I started by by cutting the aperture die into a 3.5″ square of premium card (it fitted perfectly), then stamped the jug into place. I cut a mask for it from Clarity’s blank material so that I could then add the daffodils, using black Archival ink.

I added colour to the jug by sponging ‘speckled egg’ and ‘chipped sapphire’ Distress Oxides onto the solid stamp and used it to infill the outline. The daffodils were shaded in with Polychromo pencils.

I then simply popped it on a mount of dark blue Indian Summer companion paper and attached it to a 5×5 card blank.

The daffodils in my garden have finished now, but they always remind me of my Mum, as they were her favourite flowers. Hard to believe it’s 7 years since we said farewell to her.
I’m going to share this little bunch with a few current challenges. Just Us Girls and Make My Monday are both looking for flowers this time round, and the daffodils fit the ‘spring’ brief for Four Seasons. Finally, my frame picks up the ‘circle’ theme at Cardz4Galz.

Those circle doodle dies look great and the one you chose to use here is perfect. Using the blue background and then how you coloured the jug pulls it all together and the daffodils are lovely. Thanks for sharing at cardz4galz, Johanna
