Good morning friends and welcome to a busy day in my little corner of the bloggy world! I’m kicking off things this morning with our latest board at Christmas (or not) BINGO challenge – I went with column Ii (one layer card, green, stamped image & text) to showcase the new Tall Art Deco sentiments and co-ordinating stencil embedders, which are Clarity’s new Product of the Month for May (add them to your shopping backet and you get double loyalty points on your whole shopping!) And they work beautifully with some of my favourite stamps – the Build a Wreath set! Now, the new stamps & stencil are not yet available on Clarity’s website, but I’ll add them here once they’re released on the 10am Clarity Social TV show.

I started with a 5×5 card blank, found the right size aperture on the stencil and centred it on the card front, masking all round it with low tack tape. I could then brush ‘bundled sage’ Distress Oxide into it and stamp the sentiment into place.

I then added a few flowers into each corner using stamp pens (they’re perfect for small stamps) – I went with ‘twisted citron’, ‘dried marigold’ and ‘carved pumpkin’ Distress Oxides.

I added in leaves to complete my wreath with ‘mowed lawn’ and ‘bundled sage’. One of the tricky things about one layer cards can be framing the image, which is why I’m such a big fan of Clarity’s embedders (you may have noticed!) I took one of the original square embedders and embossed my frame around the wreath using a ball tool. And that was it!

So do come and play along with us at Christmas (or not) BINGO – just choose one of the columns from our board and include at least three of the elements on your crafty creation.
