Hello crafty friends. I’m back with another look at the new Mini Landscapes stamps, today using the Countryside set for a very stripped back design. I saw a similar style to this card over on Pinterest and thought it would be a great way to use up an offcut strip of companion paper (I have a lot of those!)

My process was very simple! I first drew a line across an A6 card blank with a Sharpie and a ruler, to anchor my stamped images. I then added the tree & bench, the walking couple, and two single trees all with black Archival ink, then shaded in the tree trunk, land and bench with my Payne’s Grey Polcyhromo pencil (from Clarity’s Essentials set).

All I needed to do to finish was to glue the green companion paper into place. I used Pritt stick for that, to get a good seal over the card and left the paper slightly larger than I needed – once glued down, I used my small guillotine to trim it level with the card edges so that I got an exact fit. Finally, I popped one of the sentiments into place.

I don’t think you can get much more of a contrast from yesterday’s card than this very minimalistic card! It just shows how very versatile these stamps are. And it probably won’t surprise you to learn that I’m going to share this in the gallery at Simply Clean & Simple!
