Hello friends! Here we are with our next theme at Alphabet Challenge and it’s a very seasonal one – S for Silent Night. I’ve paired up two of the sets from ‘Linda’s Christmas Compendium’ by http://www.ClarityCrafts.com – Away in a manger and We Three Kings. using a piece of the Antactica designer paper for the background.

I took a small square of the Antarctica paper that was sitting in my folder and simply stamped the manger scene onto it with Versamark clear ink, then heat embossed it with WOW’s white superfine powder. I could then add the two sentiments from the Three Kings set and heat emboss them as well.

It was then easy to just fill in the outline of the stable and the manger with a copper metallig gen pen and dot the lamb’s fleece with a fine white Posca pen. I used a square embedder and ball tool to emboss a frame onto the front of a x5 card blank and glued the paper topper into the centre.

I do love using up my offcuts of paper – they’re too lovely to throw away and this design gives a great effect for a night sky, which is why I’ll also be sharing it with Love Those Pretty Papers! But come on over to Alphabet Challenge as well – we’d love to see your Silent Nights in our gallery!
