There are more ‘old is gold’ stamps returning today at ClarityCrafts and I decided the ‘daydreamer’ stamp would be perfect for what I hope will be a sunny Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK!

I started with half a 5×5 card blank and ran two strips of masking tape across it to create a panel. Using stencil brushes, I blended ‘lucky clover’ & ‘salvaged patina’ Distress Oxides across the top & bottom, then added ‘saltwater taffy’ across the centre. I then stamped the main ‘daydreamer’ image with Versafine Clair black ink, together with the ‘dream’ from the ‘bijou dangles’ stamp set, which I shaded with a black Pergaliner pencil.

I just added a few finishing touches to keep it nice and CAS – one of the dangles stamps went below ‘dream’, a few birds drawn with a micron pen, the topper edged with a black Shapie and then attached to a 6×6 card blank.

I’m definitely dreaming of sunny summer days in the garden, so am going to share this with Inkspirational for their ‘seasonal’ theme.
