wedding doves

Hello craft friends. I’ve got another wedding card to share with you today, using the ‘bijou dangles’ stamps and the lovely ‘doves heart’ stencil from ClarityCrafts. I’m sharing it with Just Us Girls for their stencil challenge and AAA Cards as I picked up their sketch (and I hope the team don’t think my image occupies too much of the card!)

I started by attaching the stencil to a 7×7 piece of stencil card and ran it through my embossing machine so the image has more dimension. Keeping the stencil in place, I brushed ‘saltwater taffy’ and ‘uncharted mariner’ through it, so the colours blended across the centre.

I stamped the ‘wedding bijou dangle’ onto an offcut bit of card, shaded it with a drak blue Pergaliner pencil and fussy cut it.

I mounted it on another scrap of card to lift it slightly and attached it over the stencil, adding one of the dangles below it. I then simply added a layer of Amazonia companion paper and attached the whole piece to a 7×7 card blank.
