Hello again and welcome to another card featuring ClarityCraftsnew ‘just butterflies & bees’ stamp set – I hope you’re not getting too bored with them! I’ve gone back to the bees today, but this time paired them with the ‘summer tags & frames’ stamp set and one of the new infusions papers. It’s a slightly loose connection but I’m going to share this with TGIF Challenges.
I started with a piece of the new Infusions paper, cut it down to fit a 5×5 card blank, edged it with a black Sharpie and a ruler (the paper’s too thin to just run the pen down the edge) then attached it to the card front. I cut a hexagon frame frm two nested dies and added that over the Infusions paper. I stamped the sunflowers from the ‘tags & frames’ set, added the two bees and shaded them with Pergaliner pencils, then fussy cut it.
All I needed to do was add a little mounbt of scrap cad on the back and attached the flowers in the centre of the die cut.
Why did I choose the sunflowers? Well you know I like a fun fact and I found this fab little quote on the Beelife website:
‘The sunflower is like gold for native bees, including honeybees, solitary bees, and bumblebees. Both find the yellow sundial of plants to be like a buffet full of nectar and pollen.’
The card is lovely and I really like the background paper. Love the quote and will add a small bit of knowledge of my own. Most people hate dandelions and do their best to get rid of them. I learned recently that bees need them, so we have taken to leaving them in places where they aren’t too obvious to our eyes.

Thanks Johanna – I didn’t know that about dandelions!

we only learned it recently. Partly through a wildlife magazine I subscribe to and also a place that only sells native species plants that grow in our location.
