flower dangles

Hello friends and welcome to another look at the new ‘bijou dangles’ stamps from ClarityCrafts, taking a slightly different approach thanks to some inspiration from Tina Morris, one of my Clarity teamies. This is such a great design, just using several of the dangles stamps, without the larger words.

I started with half a 6×6 card blank and blended ‘picked raspberry’ and ‘wilted violet’ Distress Oxides through the largest flower on the ‘three blooms’ stencil – the easiest way for me was to brush the ‘picked raspberry’ outwards from the centre, then the ‘wilted violet’ in from the outer edge of the petals. I took three of the dangles from the ‘wedding’ & ‘dream’ sets (I wanted ones with little flowers on them) and stamped them radiating out from the centre of the flower. So I didn’t get too muddled, I stamped the four larger petals (north, south, east & west) first, then changed to a second dangle and stamped that into the intervening petals. Finally I added the little swirly dangle between each of them.

I used a square embedder to frame the flower, then simply attached it to a layer of Waimea Falls companion paper and onto a 7×7 card blank, finishing with a word sticker.

I think this is just such a pretty design (thanks Tina!) and really shows the versatility of these stamps. I’m off to share this with the CAS spring flowers challenge at The Paper Players.
