Hello crafty friends. I wanted to share one of my DT cards using ClarityCrafts brand new ‘Just Flowers’ A5 stamp set and Infusions ‘Abstract layout 5’ papers.

The first step was to cut one of the new infusions layout papers with the largest of the ‘nested square film strip doodle frame-it panel’ dies. I wanted to use the layout on the paper as the basis for my design, so simply stamped the double daisy into each of the apertures using ‘pebble beach’ Archival ink (I put a little masking tape across the bottom of each aperture before stamping, as the daisy stems were a little too long). Once stamped, I coloured the flowers with my trusy Pergaliner pencils, going for tonal shades with yellow, peach & green.

I added the sentiment from the set with ‘fern green’ Archival, plus the little dot stamp in ‘carved pumpkin’ (that’s going to be so useful in future!). All I then needed to do was attach the mat to a 7×7 kraft card blank.

Love the way this turned out, and there’s so much potential in this lovely collection of flowers. Meanwhile, I’m heading over to a couple of challenges to share this little offering – TicTacToe for the bottom row of their grid (flowers, dots & green) and Color Throwdown with their palette.
