retro bubbles square

Hello again. Today’s card features another of the new ‘Tina’s retro stamps’ collection from ClarityCrafts – this time it’s the turn of the ‘retro bubbles’ set. The Waimea Falls designer paper I used also picks up three of the shades from Color Dare‘s ‘four square’ challenge (the dark pink and the two blues).

So, having chosen the Waimea Falls paper, I cut a panel of it using one of the ‘nested square dots doodle frame-it panels’ dies, then stamped the square image onto it with black Archival ink. I then highlighted the circles with pink and blue Pergaliner pencils before attaching it to the front of a 6×6 card blank that I’d created an embedder frame on.

I stamped one of the sentiments in the set onto a strip of the Waimea Falls paper, cut the ends into a banner and attached it across the centre of the stamped square.

I rather like this design – I think it could be useful for lots of general cards.

  1. What a fun card, Deborah! I love the stamped design – it’s so unique. Great job on including the required colors, too. Thank you for joining us at Color My Heart Color Dare #581. — Melanie R.
