corner wreath for Christmas BINGO challenge

It’s time for a new game board at Christmas Bingo Challenges – this time I’ve gone with column I and taken green, gold and square for my card using the wreath from the new ‘C is for Christmas’ stamp set from ClarityCrafts

Just a quick recap on the challenge rules! Our theme is always anything goes – just choose one letter in the word BINGO and use at least three items in that column on your Christmas project. You must state in your blog post the column and the specific items used. This is not your typical BINGO card where you go up and down, left and right and diagonally. To make this more fun, you can only go up and down using the columns!

I started with a square of white card and stamped the wreath into the bottom corner, heat embossing it with WOW’s gold metallic powder.

I coloured the leaves and berries with Pergacolour pens (top tip – blot the colour off the embossed area with a piece of paper towel as you go along so it doesn’t smudge. I learned my lesson on that last time I used this technique…!) I just wanted a little shading on the Christmas roses so used the cream & light grey Polychromo pencils.

I stamped Noel from the ‘Father Christmas’ set, heat embossed that with the gold powder and filled in the letters with the green Pergacolour pen. I mounted the card onto a square of gold and attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

Here’s a close up of the detail on this beautiful wreath.

Which of our BINGO columns will you choose to include on your card? While you’re thinking about that, I’m popping over to share this one with Color Dare Challenge (I’ve matched the colours in my wreath to the candy apple, pine & french vanilla on their grid), Peace on Earth, and TicTacToe, having picked up their left hand diagonal of metallic, free & foliage/leaves
