Hello there. Well, after yesterday’s dip back into Clarity’s Craft Club I’ve come right up to date with their latest stencil from last month. I took the colours from Just Us Girls and the ‘along the edge’ theme from AAA Cards

I started by attaching the stencil to a strip of white card with low tack tape and ran it through my embossing machine. It’s difficult to see in the photo, but it just gives the design a little dimension. I kept the stencil in place and blended ‘mustard seed’ and ‘peacock feathers’ Distress Oxides across it with Clarity’s stencil brushes.

I trimmed the card down so I just had the stencilled area, mounted it on a layer of black card and attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

It really didn’t need much else as the stencil does all the work, so I just added one of Clarity’s word stickers and a few yellow Glossies.

I do like running stencils through an embossing machine before adding colour – it really sharpens the image when you add ink.
