Welcome to my crafty blog and some pink marigolds (which are definitely a thing – I checked!) I’ve made a get well card using Stampin’ Up!’s ‘marigold moments’ set, inspired by the challenges at The Paper Players and Inspire.Create

I started by stamping the marigolds onto a square of card that I’d trimmed to fit a 6×6 card blank. I first stamped the background layer for the flowers in ‘fresh freesia’ then added the detailed stamp in ‘polioshed pink’. I stamped the stems and leaves with ‘evening evergreen’.

I stamped the little dots from ‘beautifully happy’ around the leaves using ‘pear pizzazz’, then added the sentiment from ‘inspired thoughts’ in the same colour. I framed it using one of Clarity’s square embedders, then attached the topper to a 6×6 card blank.

Just the way I like my cards – clean and simple!
